President Trump and our nation’s leaders – 6/6/2026

The Bible explicitly commands believers to pray for governing authorities. The most famous and direct passage is 1 Timothy 2:1-2, which states: “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.”

Romans 13:1: “Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.”

Proverbs 21:1: “In the LORD’s hand the king’s heart is a stream of water that he channels toward all who please him.”

James 1:5: “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”

Proverbs 11:14: “For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through many advisers.”

It’s time we, as a nation and as individuals, support our leaders. It’s time we give the respect each office of our leaders it deserves. Not only from citizens to leaders, but from leader to leader.

No more onslaught of vicious comments from our media but unified support. United we stand under God, divided we fall. Push our elected officials to come together and be united as one. No more “Red” and “Blue”, no more divided congress, but all working together under God’s direction.

Remove the “I, Me, My” from the equation and focus on the nation and the world as a whole.
